Pakistan High School Hostages Freed

This morning Gunmen took a group of at least 30 High School student’s hostage in a daring early morning chase near the city of Bannu. Pakistan’s Interior Minister spoksman Javed Iqbal Cheema said. Cheema works for Interior Minister Hamid Nawaz.

Osama Bin Laden’s Son Omar Bin Laden

Osama Bin Laden’s son, Omar, says he has not spoken to his father since early 2001. He said there is a better way to defend Islam than with a gun, and he wishes to be a peace envoy. “It’s about changing the ideas of the Western mind. A lot of people think Arabs – especially the bin Ladens, especially the sons of Osama – are all terrorists. This is not the truth.”

Benazir Bhutto Killing Linked to al-Qaida

The current Pakistani government said al-Qaida was behind the assassination offering a phone tap as proof, however the Pakistani Taliban in conflicting reports denies involvement.
