Dave Carrols Taylor Guitar is smashed by United Airlines and they say "Tough Treble Notes Dave." Mr. Taylor Responds here.

Don’t you just love it when someone calls an Airline on their mishandling of people, let alone their luggage?

“Musician Dave Carroll recently had difficulty with United Airlines. United apparently damaged his treasured Taylor guitar during a flight. Dave spent over 9 months trying to get United to pay for damages caused by baggage handlers to his custom Taylor guitar..

During his final exchange with the United Customer Relations Manager, he stated that he was left with no choice other than to create a music video for youtube exposing their lack of cooperation. The Manager responded : “Good luck with that one, pal”. So he posted a retaliatory video on youtube.

The video has since received over 7.5 million hits. United Airlines contacted the musician and attempted settlement in exchange for pulling the video. Naturally his response was: “Good luck with that one, pal”.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who gained celebrity through his association with the Beatles in 1968, is reportedly dead. Yogi used Transcendental Meditation to reach new levels of spiritual awareness. Dr. Hook parodied the association in his song “Cover of the Rolling Stone” with the lyrics: “We’ve got a genuine Indian Guru, teachin’ us a better way”

Mahesh Yogi wrote a book which sold over a million copies entitled the “Science of Being and Art of Living” which was translated into 15 languages. Last week he stepped down as the leader of the Transcendental Movement which has 5 million followers worldwide. Maharaja Nader Raam was appointed the new global leader for the movement.

Yogi’s message could be summarized in this 1967 quote: “Being happy is of the utmost importance. Success in anything is through happiness. Under all circumstances be happy … Just think of any negativity that comes at you as a raindrop falling into the ocean of your bliss”

The scary thing about this story is now three out of five of the key players of this story are dead. Minus John Lennon and George Harrison, surviving Beatles are Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. The rest are across the Universe. Yes corny, but intended. Common mistypes for this story are: Ringo Star, Paul Mcartney, John Lenon, Beetles, Betles, Mahareeshi, mahareshe, mahareshi, jogi, transendental transandental. We’ll keep you informed of this and other entertaining news.

He was a popular music artist, known nationally for being a part of the Singing team Ike and Tina Turner, with such hits as “Proud Mary” and “I want to Take you Higher,” is dead at 76 years of age.

Married 14 times but only 4 times publicly. He even claimed on a Howard Stern radio show that Tina was never his real wife, but she took the name to thwart efforts of a prior relationship harassing her. Her real name: Anna Mae Bullock. Ike denied reports of spousal abuse but later, in his 2001 autobiography Ike admitted, “Sure, I’ve slapped Tina… There have been times when I punched her to the ground without thinking. But I never beat her.”

Born on November 5, 1931 in Clarksdale Mississippi and died on December 12 2007. Reasons for death have not yet been disclosed but Jeanette Bazzell Turner reported that he had emphysema.
