Kiefer Sutherland Picture from Glendale Police DepartmentKiefer Sutherland, star of the hit TV series 24 spent 48 days in jail for a drunken driving charge, and will be released today.

Officers at the lock-up reported he was a model inmate, with no complaints and had little contact with other inmates. He was visited only once, and that was by his lawyer. The actor spent his days doing laundry, emptying trash and mopping. While the jail was deluged with fan mail, Sutherland never received it. Instead it was routed to his publicist

When asked what will be the first thing he will do, Sutherland replied “I think I will go have a drink” –Kidding.
