Stacy Peterson is or was Drew Petersons wife. Drew Peterson is a former Police Sgt. in Bolingbrook Illinois. She has been missing for over a month at this point, and her whereabouts are unknown. Speculation in the media is that Drew Peterson, Stacy‘s husband, is a serial killer. The unspoken allegations allege that Drew not only killed his fourth wife Stacy, but also his third wife Kathleen Savio. Kathleen Savio was found dead in an empty bathtub.

Cell phone records placed Drew Peterson near the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal near the time of Stacy’s disappearance. Drew said he was home at the time of the calls to a relative of Stacy, thus the investigation at the ship canal.

The search was for what has been described as a “blue container.” Some News sources claim this to be a blue box, and others a blue barrel. In any case, the brief search in the canal was based upon flimsy evidence has been called off.

In the mean time, Drew has hired a private investigator to find his former wife. Drew contends his wife ran off with a boyfriend.
